Iowa strikes down gay marriage ban

Wow, I didn't even see this coming...

Less than two hours after a judge struck down Iowa's decade-old gay marriage ban, two Des Moines men applied for a marriage license as bride and groom, and county officials said they expected to see more same-sex couples doing the same on Friday.
Read the rest of the story HERE.

Now why can't other judges see that keeping a ban on gay marriage is simply unfair and ridiculous.

Honestly -- if we had a country-wide inclusion of gay marriage these bible thumpers that are having such a problem with it would simply get over it and people would just forget about it. People, that is, except us gay folkz.

All this push back from the "haves" towards the "have nots" is just so f#cking unnecessary.

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
So, my video wasn't selected to be a part of the Gmail Video. :(
But here's the final video in case you're interested:
...sigh...
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~~

So I have a bit of a dilemma.

At my job they are doing an employee survey starting September 10th.

When I heard about it, I thought -- GREAT! I'll say something about the fact that legally "civil unioned" LGBT couples are not included in spousal coverage at work.

I can't put Jess on my insurance and I think that sucks major a$$-ticles.

However -- when I mentioned the survey to someone in my office, she told me that people have been fired for their responses to previous surveys.

I gotta admit, that scared me a bit.

But then I thought if they fire me for trying to get equal treatment I will sue the sh!t out of this place.

So, I guess I don't really have a dilemma after all.

What would you do?

Have a great 3-day weekend!

Afternoon thoughts...

Wanna feel old?

Princess Di died TEN YEARS AGO today.

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
Remember that thing I posted about that woman from Canada who was talking all that trash about her American girl?
Well the "old" girlfriend emailed me and apparently this was ex drama and the girlfriend didn't really post it.
I've since removed the names from my post.
I knew something smelled fishy.
(Shut up peanut gallery).
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

Carrot cake in the middle of the work day RULES!

That is all.

Damn those Europeans...

Yesterday my boss’ boss (“BB”) comes running over to my desk with a stack of papers on the top of which was an international phone number and name:

BB: “Can you please try this number for me? I can’t get through. I just get a beeping noise. I’m going to call the Help Desk, but can you keep trying while I wait for help? This is ridiculous, why can’t I get through??”

Me: “Umm, sure.”

She walks away frantic.

I pick up the phone and dial the number.

Beep… beep…. beep…

I hang up and try again.

Ring.

Person on other end: “Hello?”

That’s it. Taking my cue from our brilliant President, I am calling an all out boycott of all of Europe.

Effective immediately you are to no longer call it “London Broil” but “Freedom Broil”. You must teach your children to sing “Freedom Bridge” vs. “London Bridge”.

For breakfast, you are to have “Freedom Waffles” not “Belgium Waffles”.

That’ll teach you to have the audacity to be on the phone when an American tries to call you.

Seriously, how stupid do you have to be to assume that
an, oh, I don’t know, BUSY SIGNAL, means that
something is wrong with the line?
She gets paid HOW MUCH?

The beginning of the end.

Jeremie starts high school today.

What happened to my little boy?

I couldn't tell you.

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
Know what sucks? When you pay someone by check and they hold onto it so long that you forget about it then they cash it RIGHT when your account is at it's f#cking low point.
That's what sucks.
Which then sets off a ripple effect of several (now) $35 bounced check fees.
Sucks.
Ass.
::::breathe::::
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

Ok, well, I haven't much else so I'll leave you with a quote from my conversation with Eva yesterday...

Me: "You can't whine with a t!tty in your mouth....
....well you can, but it sounds suddenly better somehow."

If a word is misspelled in the dictionary, how would we ever know?

So we had heard that August 27th at 12:30 a.m. we would be able to see Mars in the sky "as if the Earth had two moons".

So, at 12:30 a.m. this morning Jess and I are standing outside looking for this other moon. We figured, ok, perhaps it won't be AS big as our moon but it should at least be bigger than a star, right? I mean they said TWO MOONS...

Well, it was bogus, I tell ya. Twern't no other flippin' other moon outside. We even drove down to the beach in case the trees on our street were obscuring our view.

Pish posh! Nada!

So I look online today and see that it's still not going to look like anything but a star to us. Sheesh! NOW you tell me!

Idjuts.

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~~
So, this weekend we went to a "straight" wedding. "Straight" because it was an FTM to lez union, which now makes it a straight wedding.
Admittedly, it seems a tad unfair that they can get full on marriage rights now and we can't.
Not that I'm not happy for them or anything. I totally am. But, you know, 6-12 months ago, they couldn't have. So it kinda sucks for us lez/gay folk.
Anyway, we had a nice time. Jen looked lovely (pics in my previous post).
Though my stomach was NOT happy when we got home... the consensus seems to be that the food that was not cooled/heated that day was the culprit.
I must say, my Jessie looked hot on Saturday... and the kids looked so great too. If the memory wasn't full on our camera I might have actually gotten a pic of all of us dressed up. (Whoops!) LOL
Anyway, I'm hoping to get some pics back from the bride so I can post 'em.
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~~

Sunday was laundry/movie marathon day.

We watched:

Must Love Dogs (sweet)
Little Manhattan (so cute)
Inside Man (eh.)
...and, of course, the end part of Lord of the Rings -- b/c you can't NOT watch that when it's on.

By sheer coincidence, all of the above movies, with the exception of LOTR, were shot in Manhattan.

As for Inside Man -- I think Denzel Washington has done the cop/private investigator role to death. Next!

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~~
Speaking of shooting -- for those of you who are not on my forum regarding the online show I want to produce (AND WHY YOU AREN'T BY NOW I COULDN'T BEGIN TO IMAGINE!!)
...ehem...
Anyway, I sent an email out last week about having a writer's meeting in September/October. I found out that I can borrow equipment so I can start this puppy sooner than I thought.
I reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy need to start getting the script together... so PLEASE contact me if you are interested in helping write the first season of the show.
I need to at least get a title folkz!! I gotta start working on the opening credits.
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~~

Does anyone else think it early to have already gotten a notice about our Company Xmas Party? We got it last week.

Talk about planning ahead! :P

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~~
Ok, so you know how you watch these commercials for prescription drugs and how they list the possible side effects?
I always joke about them. Saying, "Yes, this may cause death! But you won't have the frequent urge to pee!"
I mean, really so many times I watch the commercials and think, "Wow, the side effects are worse than the condition the pill is supposed to be helping!"
Take, for instance, the diet pill Alli where you can have:
You may feel an urgent need to go to the bathroom (number 2, not number 1). Until you have a sense of any treatment effects, it's probably a smart idea to wear dark pants, and bring a change of clothes with you to work.
Shyeah, I'm pretty sure if I need to bring "Emergency Poop Pants" to work -- being fat would be the least of my problems.
Ok, so I've been making fun of Alli for a few weeks now...
...until....
I saw this commercial for a pill that helps with Restless Leg Syndrome.
Side effects of this pill are:
...an unusual urge to gamble or increased sexual urges and/or behaviors. If you or your family notices that you are developing any unusual behaviors, talk to your doctor.
Hallucinations (unreal sounds, visions, or sensations) have been reported in patients taking Requip. These were uncommon in patients taking Requip for RLS. The risk is greater in patients with Parkinson’s disease who are elderly, taking Requip with L-dopa, or taking higher doses of Requip than recommended for RLS.
Heh.
Alrighty, I'm just gonna run RIGHT out and get me some of these drugs... I've always wanted pizza oil drippin' outta my a$$ while I held a conversation with Elvis sitting in front of the slot machines.
...though them increased sexual urges might not be all bad. :::giggle:::
Why is the third hand on the watch called the second hand?
Excerpt from a recent conversation I had (names changed to protect the “innocent”).
Angelina Jolie: i got someone… to come out to me. no one …knew! WOOHOO! where's my toaster?
Me: no darlin' you get the toaster when YOU "OUT" them ;)
Angelina Jolie: that's too hard
Me: we don't just give toasters out willy nilly…
Is it good if a vacuum really sucks?
So yesterday an old friend of mine, Lexi, got back in contact with me. I haven't talked to her in a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time.
Apparently she's living in Mississippi now.
How it is that two people close to me have come to live in Mississipi boggles the mind.
I mean... it's Mississippi. LOL
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~

So yesterday I am on the train and this guy is doing the sleepy-bobble-head dance:

...yeah... that was right before he started sleeping on my shoulder.

Which is when I got up to stand by the door to get off the train.

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
So last nite Jess came home from work piss drunk. There was a office picnic and I guess she got lit.
She aggravated me.
So when she fell asleep I had a little fun.
Hehehe.
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

As some of you know, I have a pretty thick firewall at work (thankfully this firewall does not envelope my blog)... anyway... I'm on this email list that tracks dead celebrities (you know for the Ghoul Pool)...

I tried clicking a link they sent me and got this screen (click to enlarge):

The fact that they labeled it "Tasteless" really cracked me up.

They're right you know.

But what is the purpose of HAVING celebrities if we can't place wagers on when they are gonna kick the bucket?

Eh phooey.
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
What else... hmmmm... I guess I've got nothin' else.
Time to hit your blogs...
Hasta!
I believe in luck... BAD luck, that is...
So months ago Kristie's car registration was due... which we paid.
However, they wouldn't issue it until she had to get her emissions done.
So since then I just kept forgetting or not having the $40 (since it was late) to get it done.
She reminded me last nite then said she would just take it down today to get the emissions done.
She leaves the house.
Realizes she forgot something at home.
Turns around.
Rolled through the stop sign on our dead end street.
Right in front of a cop.
$217 ticket for running the stop sign and expired registration.
She tells him that she paid the registration and was just on her way to get her emissions done.
Cop doesn't care.
Can't take it to get the emissions done NOW because the cop is working on the side street off our street and all exits are blocked.
Typical day in the Tina-cious household.
p.s. Think we have enough stop signs on our dead end street???
UPDATE: Apparently she DIDN'T roll through the stop sign but the cop was petting our neighbor's cat and didn't even see whether or not she stopped at the stop sign (which she did) and ticketed her anyway.
Needless to say she's fighting the ticket.
I say good for her.
_________________________________________________________
I accept your challenge!
Jess has issued a challenge on her blog.
I have accepted it. Will you?
Blog about a time which you've held a grudge the longest...
Gawd am I good at holding grudges.
I can hold them for a long. Long. LONG. time.
The longest I'd say I was/am holding a grudge was/is against my ex's mistress. My ex being my son's father. This nasty stinkin' ho' girl named Nina from Ansonia, Connecticut (you're lucky I never knew your last name) was messin' around with my boyfriend, wearing my same outfit, in my own house at my own party.
This was about lessee... 15/16 years ago.
I'm still lookin' for her a$$.
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

Thoughts I’ve had in the past 24 hours:

1) Eww, what is that smell???
2) I wonder when Justin will admit that he had an affair with Lance.
3) If Sneezy belts another one out like that I swear to God…
4) WTF?
5) Will I ever stop coughing??

~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
Two blog entries that are TOO funny not to draw your attention to:
and
~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

This here...

Court tries 18 for cross dressing.

"The offence is punishable by up to a year in prison and 20 lashes by cane."

...saddens me.

~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
Welp, gotta fly.
Have a great Hump Day!
OMG - Blogger's been down for soooooooooooo long! I went through withdrawl!!!
Rain, rain go away....
UPDATE: My brother seems to be OK... I talked to him yesterday... though I still don't know what was upsetting him, at least I know his sadness didn't cause him to do anything that I would regret.
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

So, on the education front -- I'm thinking that I will finish up my B.S. at UB (heh) and then head on over to Sacred Heart University to get into their teacher certification program once I take the Praxis exam.

::::shudder:::: math tests....

I wonder if they have Praxis prep classes.

...though... I'm not doing ANYTHING until I find out why I have a $2,500 balance with UB. I shouldn't.

And they won't let me register for any more classes until my balance is $500 or less.

Not.

Good.

Anyway -- I'm working that out as we blog...

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
So - Jeremie is now a football player. Didn't know he was into football?
Yeah, me neither.
But -- he went to "tryouts" at RLHS yesterday and now he is a football player.
Which is interesting to me being as Jeremie's really never been an athletic kid... he's always been more of the creative type.
We'll see how this plays out. (Hehe, get it? "Plays" out??)
All's I know is, that it's already started:
"Mom, I need $35 for pads."
Joy.
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

On the job front, things are going really well... I get along great with everyone and any little thing I do on the computer wows everyone in the office.

Which makes it entirely too easy to be lazy.

Which, in turn, becomes a battle for me to NOT spend the whole day doing absolutely nothing.

My job bores me. Ergo the going back to school thing.

But at least I am not working with some condescending a$$hole like I did at Yale and countless other places.

So there's that.
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
So this weekend is Jenn and Jesse's wedding.
VERY much lookin' forward to it.
Katie also wants to go to some pow wow thingy beforehand. I guess 500 tribes are coming together for this big thing and it's right near the wedding -- sounds cool!
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

So yesterday I was reading Rural Lesbian's blog and someone commented on her entry and said this:

I would change the fact that I had someone move from the US to Canada for me. She spoils me and who doesn't like that? I did not want her to move here at first she really pushed it then again I liked that she buys me so much, takes me on many trips, does what I want her to do. But what would I change about my life, I would get rid of her she is ugly old and I just use her.

I can't stand her family but I make like I like them. Her parents are practically ancient in age and ready to kick the bucket her brothers are gross typical american men she is very older than me but I think she likes that.She tries to act young but she is fooling herself my friends don't like her. I have to admit I can treat her anyway I want and she puts up with it. She is boring, old, but she spoils me. If I could change something it would be to find someone more attractive and not as old as she is.

{Full Name Removed} of Canada talking about her Girlfriend {Full Name Removed}
of USA.
WTF? First of all -- could what she say BE more rude and mean about her partner??? AND the b!tch had the balls to put her and her partner's full name up there!

Which means it WILL come up in a Google search... Wow.

Just.

Wow.

Man do people suck.

Ok, I gotta be outta here...

Send me some Moments of Zen...

Like bam bam bam bam....

Hola!!

Here we are at Monday again. How DOES this happen?

Anyway -- let's get to the weekend update, shall we?

Friday Katie and I took the train back to our respective cities and not much else happened...

Saturday Jess and I spent the day beating The Lord of the Rings game on the GameCube. :D

We won.

So what that it was on the easiest settings! Shush! ;)

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
Sunday we had invited our friends Bear and Meg to come over for a BBQ b/c they were coming over anyway to pick up a bike we had gotten on FreeCycle.
Well -- then we got to thinking and invited a few more people then -- well, it just spun out of control... lol
We ended up with 10 kids and 12 adults at our house... LOL
We had a GREAT time though --- sorry a few friends couldn't make it... we played 7 Deadly Sins (the clean version) and it was a riot!
I swear, I was in tears laughing so hard at least twice. Prrrrrrrrrrr
Everyone brought over a side dish and we grilled up burgers, dogs and corn... it was a lot of fun.
So thanks Bear, Meg, Sarah, Shelly, Exie, Elle, Katie, Cat, Nicki, Andrea, KB, Ebony and all the kiddies for giving us a great Sunday. :)~
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

After everyone left (including Jeremie who went with Cat to visit his brother)... the house was silent and us? Exhausted!

We just chilled out on the couch and chatted until we went to bed. While we were getting ready for bed (about 11pm), my cell phone goes off with the ringtone for a text message.

Which is late to me.

So I tell Jess to check it and from a phone number I don't recognize I get this message:

"U know i love u right? Prob more than anyone else of my blood."

Jess is like, "who is that?"

Which of course I didn't know... so she send them back a text message saying "who is this?"

"Lawrence"

(My middle little brother - 26 years old - lives in Virginia - one of the two gay brothers).

So I tell him I love him too and ask him if he's ok. Since I'm not really close to any of my siblings.
And he says he's ok but was feeling depressed.

He didn't want me to call him but promised me he would call me today.

:(

My poor baby. I hope he's ok.... I'm really worried about him.

~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
Welp, I better get to work... here's your Moment of Zen (click to enlarge):
_________________________________________________________
Saturday, August 18, 2007
Heh --- a weekend post... ;)
Do you watch the Daily Show?
No? OMG, I love it... in fact, my Moments of Zen were bourne of that show....
Well, I LOVE Jon Stewart... he is smart as a whip and being that he is on a comedy station, he can say ALL of the stuff, we as Americans want to say about this stupid a$$ administration.
For instance....
Wow, I often wonder why they allow President Bush to speak. Just give him a cracker and let him go play out in the yard.
Ok, so I thought that I was just going to post that clip, but did you know....
Is it bad that I get most of my governmental news from Comedy Central??
_________________________________________________________
Friday, August 17, 2007
Groan....
Well, one out of 5 days isn't bad.
I'm at work.
First time this week.
What a train wreck this week has been. Thanks for all the "get well" comments, calls and texts. You know, you should be careful --- if you keep this up, a girl might feel loved or sumfin.
Anyway -- so let me try to think back to what I've missed here...
Friday after work I started feelin' a little "off"... (no comments from the peanut gallery)... Saturday morning I knew something was coming and it wasn't good.
At noon Jess and I met one of the fellas I acted with in that play, Craig, and his partner at Panera Bread in Norwalk. He needed some help with editing and/or burning a DVD he did... so we got free lunch for my services... :D
After that we went home and I layed down for a while b/c the cold or whatever it was that I was getting was starting to grab a firm foothold...
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

Saturday nite was bowling with the siblings nite.

Which, if it weren't for my two sisters, would've been a total bust.

My two local brothers aside from having read the evite, never responded to that or my text messages or my emails.

Which, to be honest, I think is a pretty sh!tty thing to do.

What's it hurt to just send me a message to say "Sorry, can't come, I'm busy that day"? Seriously.

Eh well... f#ck 'em.

We had fun with my little sisters -- though, my littlest sister doesn't always realize the line between sarcasm and just being a b!tch (which can get annoying).

I'll post pictures whenever I get them... (hint, hint, Kristie)...

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
SIDE NOTE: This one day work week thing, is kinda nice! ;)
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

Sunday I spent the whole day in bed... that was Day One of the worst of it.

Nausea, headaches, sore throat, coughing, heavy chest, you name it... I had it.

My squish-face was sooooo sweet and took really good care of me. :)

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
So Monday comes and we had taken a vacation day to go to the beach w/ the kids and I refused not to go b/c I was sick...
So we peddled up to RI with the kids.
All the way up it was raining. All the way there we debated about whether or not to turn back.
When we pulled into the beach parking lot? 5 minutes later the skies cleared.
And a BEAUTIFUL day arrived...
All the way until we were packing up to leave .... when the skies opened up and a million gallons of water fell out of the sky.
It was unbelievable.
It was nice though -- took some naps on the beach -- relaxed and had a general great time w/ the kids.
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

After that it was a blur... Jess started feeling sick --- so we called out Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.... every morning waking up with screaming headaches, nauseah, etc... it really sucked.

But today, I'm better aside from the coughing up a lung part --- and since Katie offered me a ride in, it was a big plus.... so here I am at work...

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
So I not only missed Bobbie's birthday.... but apparently I missed Jasmine's birthday and Floobie's birthday.
Can't link you to Jasmine b/c she's not a blogger -- just a loooooooooooooooooooong time friend but I can link you to Floobie! :)~
Sorry it's so late. :P
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

So -- Kristie tells me the other day that she's at work at Home Depot and some guy comes in her line and is all like, "Do I know you from somewhere?" and she gets that a lot since she used to work at a popular bakery in town so she says, "Maybe from Devores?"...

He says, "Hmm, no... is your mom Tina?"

She says, "Uhhhh, yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...."

LOL

He says, "Oh, I read her blog!"

(which, by the way, if I were Kristie -- I would be TOTALLY freaked out at this point LOLOL)

He goes on to say, that he is Val's brother, David, and the "Uh oh this is a nut" flags all went back down... though he IS related to Val. ;) LOL

Anyway, Kristie relayed the message! Hi!! :::waving:::: :D

Wednesday, August 15, 2007

Achooooooooooooooooooo!

You may have noticed that I haven't been blogging....

(Thx Val for the email!) :)

I've been sick since Saturday.

I was off on Monday and haven't been to work since (including today).

Jess is sick now too. :( Sorry squish-face...

It's looking like the flu.

Anyway -- that's the update... hopefully I can make it to work tomorrow.

I'm a heel... I'm a cad...

I am a horrible person.

I competely forgot that yesterday was my best childhood friend's birthday. (Damn you Google calendar!!)

I'm horrible.

No shout out to you or anything.

I'd tell you to spank me, but I'd like it. lol

So let me tell ya a little about Bobbie -- Bobbie and I have been best friends since 7th grade at Port Chester Middle School when we met at a meeting at school for a John Hopkins honor student special trip (yeah, we were smart, what???)... we met up again later on and were joint at the hip ever since.

She is what I like to call my blonde-haired, blue-eyed, white girl twin.

We were very much the same in a whole lot of ways except for the obvious ones.

Hell, even our email addresses are the same.

I'm tinap73... she's bobbiep73.

Kismet.

So this is me and my Berooni together at her daughter's Sweet 16 last year in North Carolina:

I hate this picture of me, but Bobbie looks good.

We both were built the same way back in high school... thin but with big asses and hips. So swapping clothes wasn't a problem.

We were so close I even started to take on her cute little lisp.

We started to sound so much like each other that I even broke up with a few of her boyfriends over the phone FOR her....

Anyway, a decade or so ago she got married and was carted away to North Carolina. I hate that she's there.

I miss her somethin' wicked... and every now and again I try to convince her to come back.

She just bought a new house this year down there.

...sigh...

So Berooni... forgive me for not remembering your special day.

I promise I'll make it up to you soon.

Love ya!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Someday, I tell ya...

Because I'm totally jealous that everyone on the planet seems to be cruisin' this year, I joined an email list for gay cruises... just to monitor them for good deals.

When I saw this:

French Caribbean Adventure Sail
March 16-23, 2008
Aboard Windjammer's S.V. Mandalay
72 naked guests
GAY NAKED CRUISE!!
Departs from St. John's, Antigua, visiting Tintamarre,Statia, Saba, St.
Bart's, and ending in Phillipsberg, St. Maarten.
Prices from $1489

Heh.

...I'm probably wrong for picturing a big ole orgy. lol

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
So I saw Angie B the other day while I was peddlin' my a$$ to the train station.
She honked the horn and pointed and laughed at me on my bike on the way to work.
While she drove off in her Lexus SUV.
God I love that woman. LOL
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

I left my cigarettes at home this morning.

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
So -- tonight is the gay presidential candidate debate on LOGO. Triangle Community Center is hosting a viewing of it at St. Paul's on the Green in Norwalk (where Pride was).
We're going there to watch it... being a board member, I really should make an appearance to sh!t like this once in a while. :)~
Maybe they'll even read my question. :D
Anyone within the sound of my blog feel free to come tonight!
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

Last nite was a great nite.

Jess made some kick a$$ zucchini parmesan from this HUGE zucchini that her staff member gave her. SOOOOOOO good.

Then we played 7 Deadly Sins. ;)

~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
Welp, I guess I'm done... so here's your Moment of Zen:
Got my creative juices flowing...
Hi.
Soooo thanks to Grand Central Station those of us CT commuters got the pleasure of getting to work late today.
It was raining a LOT this morning and apparently the "Greatest City in the World" is lacking in the drainage department... so trains were stranded. And I just wanted to get from Fairfield to Stamford.
Eh well -- at least Katie and I chit chatted while we waited. :)
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
Baby -- Sorry for the tiff the morning. I love you. :)
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~
So GMail is having this video thing where you submit a video 10 seconds long or less. The only thing that has to happen is that the GMail icon (an envelope with a red M on it) has to move across the screen from left to right.
So I made a vid last nite to submit. This is it:
I hope I get picked to be in the final video! I'll let you know.
If you have time, look at the other submissions... they are quite good. :)
~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~

Lessee, what else...

Oh yeah...

Totally ripped off from Sassy who stole it from Maggie who begat… oh never mind:

What would you say to your younger self?

1) Do not sleep with Ray (though this is a tough one since I wouldn’t have Kristie).

2) Do not sleep w/ Tony (same thing with Jeremie).

3) Learn to save money – be OCD about it!

4) Yeah, your credit score matters – guard it with your life.

5) Do not follow him home.

6) These people that you are trying to impress so much will mean absolutely nothing to you in less than 10 years.

7) Adopt your “I don’t give a f#ck” attitude a lot faster.

8) Do NOT move in with Marie.

9) Do NOT let Ma cut your hair… run! She can’t catch you.

10) Put down that sandwich!

I've made an executive decision...

Though I can't find the entry right now, I know I've mentioned before how much I hate word verification.

You know what I'm talkin' about... these things:

F#CKING HATE THEM. Can you read that??? I can't!

Is that a 9? G? Q? What!?!
