Unsent: Part Deux

Dear Dunkin Donuts:

I realize that expecting the one thing I order from you be correct is asking kind of a lot... but... when I ask you for a medium caramel coffee, light with 4 equal... well, I want just that.

I can't tell you the bloody murder I feel when I'm now halfway down the highway and realize that you left out the equal.

I'd be more forgiving (kinda) if I had asked for 15 different items and leaving out the equal was the only thing you did wrong....

....or even if there were 85 people in line and you were feeling rushed so you screwed up... but when I'm the sole person in the line I kinda expect you'd get this right.

Didn't they teach you anything at "Time To Make The Donuts" University?

Dear F**n (my boss),

When I prepare something for your review --- how about you NOT shout out your changes and/or comments from your office?

Just make your corrections and hand it back to me. You do realize that I am doing OTHER things now that I gave you that to review, right?

Why is this concept so hard to grasp?

Dear Members of this Online Group I'm On,

PLEASE tell me you have a better reason for voting for Obama than just his skin color.

To me, that's just as ignorant as voting for Bush Whacker solely for his "religious values".

I don't care that you're voting for him... but when I ask you why you made that choice, I really can't stand to hear that him understanding the plight of the black community is your main reason.

I'm not black.

It's not a selling point to me.

Worse still -- when I tell you that Hillary's political experience is one of my main reasons -- don't tell me that "experience should not be a factor in deciding what candidate to choose."

Now you're just an idiot.

I'm outta here.

Dear Chantix,

OMG -- this stuff ROCKS!

I can't believe how much you're helping with the cigarette urges.

It was totally worth the money.

4 smoke free days and counting! :)

Dear Fairfield Town Clerk,

Charging a $9 late fee on an $8 dog license is a crock of sh!t. I hope you realize that.

Don't even get me started on the fact that I NEED a dog license.

That is all. ;)

I love it when you do your Dear so and so letters. They kill me. lol
Now write one to your boss like you are someone else who just happens to be observing this, sign Jess's name and send it. lol (Or a nasty co worker.)heehee

Hey! Great news on the cigg free. That is a long time. I remember what that is like.

Caramel coffe...hmmm. Maybe you could stop and go into Blinkin Blonuts, grab a fistful of equal and put it in your glove compartment. If they ask, tell them its for all the times you ordered it and never got it and hopefully, unless they forget to pour the coffee into the cup, from now on you'll be good to go!

my dog doesn't drive, so I don't bother with the license:)

Tina-cious.com said...

Otter: LOL! I wouldn't either if it weren't for my neighbors being a$$holes and blaming my dog for stuff he couldn't possibly have done then calling the dog catcher on him.

Congrats on the non-smoking!!!! KNEW you guys could do it! Awesome!

Love these rants/letters... so YOU. ;)

Great rants. Congrats on the 'smoke-free' milestone. Hope you make it all the way this time around. So very glad we have to brew our own coffee here or get a normal cuppa at a mom & pop store. There's a Dunkin Donuts about to open though. It'll be the only fast food place in the next town over. Only fair I guess, we got a Micky D's for the touristy types. Subway comes & goes, hard to compete against all the mom & pops with far better subs:)

4 equal in your coffee? Whoa, that's pretty sweet!

I suppose we should get Molly a dog license here, we haven't yet.

Yippee for the no-smoking!
